My 6 year old just read his first book

He sat down with me and read through the whole thing without asking for help. Only got stuck on like two words. I've never been more proud of anything in my life. We're doing a celebratory ice cream run tonight. These moments make all the tough stuff worth it.

That's awesome! My oldest just hit that milestone too and man, the pride is real. Those two stuck words don't even matter compared to watching them figure it out on their own.
