My 6yo finally rode his bike without training wheels

Been working with him all summer. Today he just took off down the driveway and I didn't have to hold the seat. My wife got it on video and I've watched it like 50 times. He's going to be so much more confident now. Feeling like Dad of the Year right now even though I know that's temporary lol

This is the stuff right here. All those summer afternoons in the driveway finally paying off. Six year olds learning bikes is such a cool milestone because you can actually see them get confident in real time.

Best feeling in the world right? That moment when you realize you can actually let go and they just GO. Watched that happen with my boy and it's up there with some of my favorite dad moments. Proud of your patience getting him there.

That's amazing! The moment they take off on their own is something else. My oldest just got that down last month and we both were just pumped. You've been putting in the work all summer so this is well deserved.
