Been working with him all summer and today he just took off down the driveway. Barely caught myself from screaming like an idiot in front of the neighbors. Wife got it on video and I've watched it like 20 times already. So proud I could burst.
These are the wins that matter. Your 6yo's gonna remember that moment forever, and so will you.
All that work finally clicked for him. Those are the days that make the chaos worth it.

This is one of those memories right here. The fact that you were actually there to catch yourself tells the whole story. Props for putting in all those hours with him over the summer. That's what it's all about.
Haha yes! Welcome to the club. My oldest did his thing a couple years ago and I still remember how proud he was. You're gonna have so many more of these moments coming up. Enjoy it!
