Been working with him all summer on this. Today he just took off down the driveway and I'm not gonna lie, I teared up a little. He crashed into the bushes at the end but he was so proud of himself. Worth every scrape and bruise.
Dude, I'm tearing up just reading this. Six years old flying down the driveway is everything. The fact that he crashed and probably got back up says even more about him.
That's awesome man, those moments hit different. The crash into the bushes is basically a rite of passage at that point haha. You put in the work all summer and it paid off.
Dude yes! My 7yo just hit this milestone last month and I may have cried a little bit. All those scraped knees and patience finally paid off. Did he want to keep going or was he done for the day?
That's the best feeling in the world right? I remember when my oldest finally got it and just kept going. You're gonna want to take that moment in because they grow so fast. Congrats man, you earned this one.
