Been working on this for like 6 months. Today he just... did it. No prompting, no sitting down next to him. Just walked over and tied them both before we left for school. I may have teared up a little in the kitchen lol. Small win but feels HUGE.
That's huge! Seriously big milestone. Mine just got it last month at 6 and I was watching him like a proud maniac. The little bunny ear loop is coming next.

Six months is actually pretty normal for that skill. Good on you for sticking with it instead of just tying them for him every time. That patience pays off.
