Wait till you realize you don't have to tie his shoes anymore. That's when it really hits. These tiny milestones are actually massive.

The bunny ears method works great. My daughter resisted for forever and then one day after watching a YouTube video she was determined to do it the 'regular' way. Kids are weird.
