My 6yo just read his first book by himself

He sat at the kitchen table this morning with a Dr. Seuss book and just... did it. Whole thing. No help. His mom and I had tears coming. All those bedtime stories and "sound it out" moments finally clicked. He's already asking to read another one. Might be the coolest thing I've witnessed as a parent so far honestly.
