Guys I'm still tearing up. He's been struggling with reading all year and his teacher was worried. Tonight he grabbed a Magic Tree House book and just... kept going. Didn't ask me to read it to him once. When he finished he looked at me and said 'Dad I did it!' I've never been more proud of anything in my life.

Get him the next book in the series ASAP. Once they catch the reading bug it's hard to stop it. My dog was jealous of how much time my kid spent reading for like a week straight.
