Been working with him on this for like 2 months. Today I finally let go and he just took off down the driveway. Didn't even realize I wasn't holding on anymore until he made it all the way to the end. He turned around with this huge grin on his face and yelled DAD DID YOU SEE THAT. Probably the happiest I've seen him in a while. Worth every scraped knee.
That's the moment right there man! Two months of patience pays off and suddenly they don't need you anymore. Congrats to your son, that's huge.
