My 6yo just rode his bike without training wheels

Been working with him all summer and today it finally clicked. He went like 50 feet down the driveway without me holding on. The look on his face when he realized he was doing it... man I'm still grinning. My wife got it on video and I've watched it like 20 times already. This parenting thing is pretty amazing sometimes.

That 50 feet down the driveway is huge! Wait til he realizes he can go around the block. Then it's like he's discovered freedom. Great summer project.

That moment is something else isn't it. My oldest finally clicked with it last summer and now I can't keep up with her. All that work paying off.

Awesome! My 6yo is right there with training wheels still. How many times did he bail before it clicked? Trying to gauge if I'm setting myself up for the patience test.

Six year olds are so close to it before they just suddenly get it. You probably made him braver just by being there spotting him. Good work.
