My 6yo just rode his bike without training wheels for the first time

Dude I'm not crying you're crying. We've been working on this for like 3 months and today he just... did it. Rode all the way down the driveway without me holding on. My wife got it on video and I've watched it like 50 times already. He's asking if he can go ride with the neighborhood kids now. This is the best day ever.

The first time without training wheels is such a milestone. My oldest is about to hit this phase and I'm not ready emotionally. That's the stuff you remember forever as a dad.

That's huge man, congrats to your son! Three months of work and then one day it just clicks. I remember my oldest finally getting it and the look on his face was priceless. You earned those tears.
