My 6yo just tied his shoes for the first time

I know this is like a basic life skill but man I got emotional watching him figure it out. We've been working on this for months and he kept giving up. Today he just sat there concentrating harder than I've ever seen and boom, both shoes tied. He looked up at me all proud and said "Dad I did it!" Now he won't stop tying and untying them lol
