My 7yo finally rode his bike without training wheels and I'm not crying you're crying

Okay so we've been working on this ALL summer. Like, every other day we'd go out to the parking lot behind the community center in Raleigh and practice. Kid was terrified, kept saying his legs weren't long enough (they are). Today he just... did it. Went like 50 feet down the sidewalk completely on his own. Then immediately fell over but whatever lol. The look on his face when he realized he was actually doing it though? That's the stuff right there. Worth every scraped knee and patience-testing moment. My wife was literally jumping up and down screaming. Neighbors probably think we're insane but idgaf.
