My daughter called me her best friend today

She's 9 and going through that phase where kids get weird about their dads but today out of nowhere she said I'm her best friend. We'd just been goofing around making a pizza together and laughing at dumb jokes. That one sentence made my whole week. Gonna hold onto that for the tough years ahead.
