My daughter hit her first home run today

Still grinning like an idiot. We've been practicing in the backyard all summer and she finally connected with one in her game. She ran the bases with the biggest smile on her face. Had to fight back tears in the bleachers. These are the moments right here.

That's awesome! Those backyard practice moments really do pay off. My boy's still in the baby phase but I'm already imagining moments like this with him.

Nothing beats seeing all that hard work come together in a game like that. Three kids and I still remember my oldest's first real hit, that feeling doesn't get old.
