My daughter just beat me in a race

For the first time ever she actually beat me running across the yard. She's 9 now and I've been letting her win occasionally but this was legit. The look on her face when she realized she'd won was incredible. Started doing laps and wanted to race again and again. I probably let her win a couple more but at least the first one was real. She's getting fast and I'm so here for watching her discover she's capable of stuff. Being a dad is the best.

Bro this is everything. These are the moments that stay with them forever. She's gonna remember beating her dad in that race for the rest of her life.

That's the moment right there. Letting them win is one thing but when they actually earn it? That's pure. Nine is such a fun age for stuff like this.
