My daughter made me a Mother's Day card for me

She's 5 and can't really write yet but she drew me with a big smile and wrote 'I love dad' (with her mom's help on the spelling). I'm sitting here at my desk trying not to cry at work. This might be one of those things I remember forever.

My 5 year old did something similar and honestly it sits on my desk at work. Doesn't matter if the spelling is off or the handwriting is shaky - it's perfect.

Hold onto this feeling. In a few years she'll be rolling her eyes at you but she'll still remember making that card.
