She's only 7 and in her third soccer season. Been working on her footwork all summer in the yard. During the game today she actually got the ball and put it in the net. The look on her face when she realized what happened was everything. I got it on video. That's gonna be a permanent reminder of when she believed she could do something and actually did it.
First goal is huge. My daughter's still working on hers but I can see it coming. The footwork drills in the yard really do make a difference.
