Nothing compares to seeing your son's face light up when he realizes what he did. He was nervous all season and almost quit soccer. Made him stick with it. Today he scored and the whole sideline lost it. He ran straight to me for a hug. Best moment of my year honestly.
Man, those moments are what it's all about. The pure joy on their face when they accomplish something they've been working toward. You nailed the important part by being there to see it.
