We've been working on this for like 6 months and today he just took off and went like 50 feet down the street before we even told him to balance. I was filming and I'm pretty sure I have a video of me ugly crying. He's growing up so fast man.
That's awesome! We just went through this with our oldest and it's such a confidence boost for them. Seeing them realize they can do it is everything. Did he want to keep going or was he done after the 50 feet?
YES! That moment when they just get it and take off is the best feeling. Six months of patient practice and then suddenly they don't need the training wheels anymore. Your son is going to remember this day forever. Congrats to him and congrats to you for sticking with it.
