My son hit his first baseball today

I know its just tee ball but man I was so proud watching him run to first base with the biggest smile on his face. He was so nervous at practice all week and I kept telling him he could do it. Worth staying up late last night helping him get his uniform ready. Best dad moment so far this year.

Man, that's awesome! Those nervous-to-confident moments are everything. My girl is still too little for sports but I'm already imagining that same proud feeling someday.

That's the good stuff right there. I coach my boys' soccer team and I'm telling you, those moments when they overcome the nerves and just go for it? That's why we show up. Congrats to your son!
