My Son Stood Up to the Bully
Got a call from the school today about an incident at recess. Some kid was pushing his smaller friend around, and my 9 year old stepped in and told him to knock it off. Didn't throw a punch, didn't get aggressive, just stood up and said something wasn't right. Principal told me he was calm but firm about it. That's my boy right there. We went out for ice cream after school and I told him how proud I was. He just shrugged like it was no big deal but I could tell it meant something to him. This is what you work for as a parent.
That's the stuff that matters. Doesn't matter if he won, what matters is he did the right thing. School probably flagged it but you know he's got character. That's the real win.
Proud dad moment right there. Did they get in trouble or did the school back him up on it?
