My teenager actually listened to my advice

Got in an argument with him about college major choices. Instead of doubling down I just told him to think about it and we'd talk in a week. He came to me today and said he'd been thinking about what I said and wanted to discuss it more. We had a real conversation for the first time in months. This parenting thing might actually be working out.
