My teenagers actually want to spend time with me

Took my 14 and 16 year old to a baseball game last weekend and they didn't complain once. They even put their phones down for most of it. We grabbed hot dogs, talked about their stuff, and they actually laughed at my jokes. I know this window is small so I'm soaking it in. Best day I've had in months honestly.

That's awesome man. Getting them to actually engage and put the phones down is huge at that age. Baseball games hit different when they're genuinely into it.

This is the stuff that matters. Holding onto these moments with teenagers is gold because they don't come around as often. Glad you got a solid day with them.
