My wife actually thanked me for bath time

Literally just gave both kids a bath and put them to bed without any major disasters. Got the bedtime routine done in under an hour. Wife came upstairs and actually said 'thank you for doing that.' Felt like I won the lottery. Why does this feel like such a big win??? Because getting two kids washed, dried, and in pajamas without someone crying is legitimately impressive I guess.

The fact that you kept them on schedule too is impressive. So many guys just get them in the water and call it done. Sounds like you actually did the whole routine right.

Your wife probably appreciated not having to do the bedtime routine more than anything. Those few hours of evening peace after the kids are down are gold.

When I handle bath and bed my wife actually sits down for like an hour. It's amazing how much that helps her mood. I should do this more often just for the thank you alone.

This is huge. Bath time is genuinely underrated. You're hitting bedtime which is like half the battle and they're actually clean. That's a win in my book.
