Nailed the bedtime routine with zero fights
I know this sounds small but I'm counting it as a win. Usually bedtime is a whole production with negotiations and meltdowns. Tonight I let them pick which books to read, gave them two choices for pajamas instead of just telling them what to wear, and we did it all without raising my voice once. They were actually excited to go to bed. My wife looked at me like I'd performed magic. Taking the small wins where I can get them.
That's a win for sure. I'm learning that giving them choices instead of just commands makes everything smoother. Glad you had a peaceful night.
