Nailed the school lunch thing

Been packing lunches for my oldest for a month now and finally got it right. No more complaints about what I packed. He's eating the sandwiches, the fruit snacks, the juice box. His teacher even mentioned at pickup that he's been happier at lunch time. Such a small thing but it feels like I actually got something right as a parent. Taking the win.

Yes! That first month is brutal. What finally worked for us was asking the kids what they actually wanted instead of guessing. Turns out my oldest didn't care about fancy, just wanted consistent stuff he liked. Now school lunch is easy.

This is satisfying. I feel like school lunch packing is one of those invisible wins that nobody celebrates but it matters so much to your mornings.
