Nailed the school pickup timing
Got to pick up the kids right at 3pm, no earlier, no later. Avoided the crazy parking lot chaos AND they weren't waiting around. Parked perfectly in one spot. This might be my best day as a dad.

This is actually harder than it sounds. I've tried to time it perfectly so many times and ended up sitting in my car for 10 minutes or showing up early. When you nail it though, it's the best feeling.
That timing is basically dad magic. The pickup lottery is real and hitting 3pm exactly feels like winning the lottery some days. No double parking, no frustrated honking in the background.
This might sound small but hitting that perfect pickup window is legitimately one of the best feelings. Avoiding both the early arrival frustration and the late rush anxiety? That's winning the timing lottery.
I'm still learning the timing game as a new dad but this makes me feel better about stressing over the pickup schedule. Sounds like there's actually a sweet spot and it matters.

The parking lot chaos at 3:15 is real. I've seen parents literally arguing over spots. Getting in and out without that madness is honestly underrated as a dad win.
