Nailed the school talent show performance
My daughter was so nervous about doing her piano recital thing at talent show. We practiced every night for weeks. She went out there and absolutely killed it. No mistakes, played with confidence, and got a standing ovation. She's been floating ever since. Best 20 minutes I've spent as a dad.
Your daughter must have felt so supported having you practice with her every night. That kind of consistency matters more than people realize. Did she nail it on stage?
This is the kind of dad move I aspire to. My kid gets so nervous about performances and I usually just tell her she'll be fine. Showing up to practice with her is a totally different level.
