Our family Disneyland trip was actually really good???
I know everyone jokes about how expensive and crazy it is but we just got back and ngl it was one of the best weekends we've had in years. Kids are 5 and 8, both old enough to remember it, young enough to still be amazed by everything. My 8yo rode Space Mountain for the first time and lost his mind in the best way. Sure it cost a lot but watching my wife and kids just lose themselves in the moment for a whole day was worth every penny. Anyone else have surprisingly good Disney experiences?
The 8yo Space Mountain reaction is everything. My kid did the same thing last year and immediately wanted to go again. We ended up riding it like 5 times that day lol. The thing nobody tells you is that Disney is actually better when your kids are in that sweet spot where they're old enough to do the big rides but still young enough to think Mickey waving at them is the coolest thing ever. By the time they're teenagers they're just on their phones. Glad you got a good trip!
