Rant: The school pickup line is absolutely insane

Why is pickup at our elementary school designed like we're boarding an airplane? 20 cars trying to fit in a space for 8. Got honked at yesterday for... literally just existing in the lane? And don't even get me started on the parents who wait until their kid actually comes out to pull forward. Anyway that's my vent for the day. If your school has a better system, I'm jealous.
