Son asked me to teach him to throw a baseball and caught a grounder on the third try
Been waiting for this moment since he was born. Took him out in the yard and started with some easy tosses. He was doing alright but definitely frustrated. Then I rolled a grounder at him, he got in position and actually scooped it up cleanly. The smile on his face when he threw it back to me. He immediately asked when we could do it again. I don't even care if he never plays baseball, that moment right there was everything.
This is the stuff that sticks with him forever. Not just the baseball skill but that you took the time to teach him and believed he could do it. Definitely a dad win.
