Son made the travel baseball team

He tried out last month and we didn't push him either way. Found out yesterday he made the team and he jumped around the kitchen for like 10 minutes straight. As his dad I'm trying not to make it a big thing but inside I'm freaking out. He's 10 and this is a big deal to him. First practice is next week. Also terrified I have to become one of those baseball parents now.

That's huge! Travel baseball is a different level. Congrats to him on making it. The not pushing him part is key too, he earned it himself which makes it even better for his confidence.

This is so cool. I know exactly that feeling when your kid accomplishes something without you having to push them. He's gonna remember this moment forever. Are you gonna try to make all the games?

Awesome! Making travel team is legit impressive at any age. How are the practice schedules looking? Fair warning, those can get pretty intense once the season really gets rolling.
