Been practicing with him all summer in the heat and he actually made it. Watched him light up when he found out. He's been playing in rec league but always wanted to try travel. Now we're gonna be driving all over the state on weekends but honestly I'm pumped about it.

That's awesome! Those summer practice sessions are gonna stick with him forever, not just the soccer skills. My oldest made travel team last year and I still remember the look on his face when he found out.
