Son told a joke and absolutely killed

My 6 year old has been working on this joke for like a week and told it at dinner tonight. It wasnt even that funny but he NAILED the delivery and timing. The whole family was laughing, not at the joke but because he was so proud of himself. That little guy had the biggest smile. That's the stuff you remember.

Man, this is what it's all about right here. My 3 month old can't even smile yet but I'm already looking forward to moments like this. Thanks for the reminder of what's coming.

Nothing beats that confidence boost kids get when they nail something they've been working on. My twins are still too young but I'm saving this post for when they get to that age.

That's awesome! Those moments stick with them forever. My 6 year old told me a terrible knock knock joke last week and I laughed like it was the funniest thing I'd ever heard. The pride on his face was worth it.
