Had to drive to my parents place and was dreading it. Loaded up snacks, downloaded new shows on the tablets, made playlists. Somehow it actually worked. Kids were chill the whole time. No major fights, no emergency bathroom stops. We even got there early because I didn't have to pull over. My wife was shocked.
Dude, that's legit impressive. Two stops on a 6 hour drive with kids is basically a miracle. The tablet hack is clutch, might have to steal that for our next trip up to see family.
