Taught my daughter to ride her bike without training wheels

Spent about 20 minutes in the driveway with her this afternoon. She was nervous but I kept telling her I wouldn't let go. Eventually I did and she went like 30 feet before bailing into the grass. But she got up laughing and wanted to try again. By the end she rode the whole length of the driveway solo. I was the proudest I've been in years watching her figure it out.

Man, this is what I'm looking forward to with my daughter. The confidence boost they get from doing it themselves is incredible, sounds like you nailed the balance between encouraging her and actually letting her do it.
