This kid at the park was being mean to my 3 year old and my 5 year old stepped in and told him to stop being rude. Told the kid to go away. I wanted to laugh and hug him at the same time. He's got her back already. Feels like I might be doing something right with these two.
This is what it's all about right here. Not the perfect moments or the Instagram stuff, just a kid doing the right thing because he was raised to do it. Your teaching is working.

That's awesome! Those moments are gold. My older one did something similar last year when a kid was being rough with my youngest on the soccer field. That protective instinct they develop is something special.
Love this. I'm teaching my kids the same thing about sticking up for their siblings. Did he get any pushback from the other kid or did the kid back off pretty quick?
