The ultimate dad move worked
My kids were fighting over the last brownie so I cut it in half. I thought that would be the end of it but they both started crying because apparently a half brownie is the worst thing that could happen. I told them since they were so upset I'd just eat both halves myself. Cue the fastest compromise ever made. They split the brownie peacefully and I got to feel like I actually outsmarted them for once.
That's textbook dad problem solving right there. Did they actually accept half each or did one of them refuse the compromise?
