Told my daughter I was proud of her and she cried happy tears
She's been struggling with math all year and has been really hard on herself about it. She brought home her report card today with a B in math after tutoring and studying her butt off. I told her I was so proud of how hard she worked and didn't give up. She immediately got all teary eyed and hugged me so tight. Man I'm still thinking about it. These moments are the whole thing right here.
That's huge. Math confidence is everything at that age. The fact that she knows you believe in her will stick with her way longer than any test score. How'd she do on the next assignment?
