Told my daughter the truth about Santa and she handled it perfectly

She's 8 and started asking questions. Instead of lying more we sat down and had the real talk. She said 'so you've been Santa this whole time?' and I said yes. Then she asked if she could help be Santa for her little brother next year. Now we're planning this whole thing together. Feels like we leveled up somehow.

That's such a cool moment. My oldest is getting to that age where questions are coming and I'm not looking forward to it, but hearing she handled it that well gives me hope.
