Took my kids camping and nobody complained about being cold
WE DID IT. Two nights in the woods, temps dropped to like 45 degrees, and my 7yo and 9yo were actually happy. Made a huge campfire, roasted marshmallows, told ghost stories. They asked if we could go again next month. This is the best parenting win I've had in years.
This is a WIN. Two nights in the wilderness with no complaints is basically winning the lottery as a parent. I'm impressed and also skeptical. What's your secret? Did you pack hot chocolate or something?
