Took my son to his first baseball game and he talked about it for weeks
Drove two hours with my 7 year old to see the minor league team play. Got there early, got hot dogs, sat in decent seats. He was mesmerized the whole time. Every play he'd look at me to make sure I saw it too. When the home team won he went absolutely nuts. We've been to the park twice more since and he still talks about that first game all the time. Small thing but honestly one of my favorite memories with him so far. Cost me like 150 bucks and it was worth every penny.
Those memories stick with kids for life, man. Two hours is nothing when you see that excitement on their face. Did he pick out anything from the concession stand?
Weeks of conversation from one trip is worth every penny of gas money. Those are the days he's going to remember when he's older.
