Took the kids camping and actually enjoyed it

I know this sounds stupid but I always dreaded camping trips. Cold nights, bugs, no wifi, kids complaining. Decided to just go for it last weekend with a better tent and actually planned activities. My 8yo caught her first fish. My 5yo laughed so hard he fell off a log. My wife looked at me like I was a superhero. We're already planning the next trip. Feels good man.
