Took the kids camping and nobody complained once

Seriously. Three days in the woods, minimal service, cooking over a fire, sleeping in a tent. My 8yo and 10yo were genuinely happy the whole time. No tablets, no complaining about being bored. We caught some fish, told stories, and sang dumb songs around the fire. On the drive home my daughter said "Dad that was the best weekend ever." Nailed it.
