Took the kids camping for the first time

We went out to the woods for two nights with the kids, ages 6 and 9. I was nervous about whether they'd complain the whole time but they loved it. We did some easy hiking, built a fire, made s'mores, and slept in a tent. My 6yo said it was the best weekend ever and fell asleep on my shoulder in the car on the way home. No phones, no screens, just us. That's going to be our new thing.
