Took the kids camping solo for the first time

Honestly thought this would be a disaster. No phones, no wifi, just me and three kids ages 4, 7, and 10 for three days. We caught fish, built a fire, told stories. My oldest said it was the best weekend ever. I'm on cloud nine right now. Already planning the next trip.

That's awesome man, three kids solo is no joke. My gallery wall would've collapsed from all the 'I'm bored' artwork by day two, but sounds like you crushed it with the fishing and fire.

This is the stuff that matters. Getting them outside and unplugged for three days, teaching them to catch fish and build a fire - that's the real coaching right there. Bet they'll remember that forever.

Solo camping with three kids is legit impressive. I've done snow days with mine and thought that was tough, but you took on the real wilderness challenge. Respect.
