Unpopular opinion: Not every kid moment needs to be a teaching moment

Sometimes my kid does something dumb and I just want to laugh instead of turning it into a learning experience. Like today my 5yo put an empty juice box on his head like a hat and walked around the house announcing himself as "Juice Commander." I let him be Juice Commander for 20 minutes. No lesson, no redirection, just vibes. I think we're so caught up in optimization that we forget kids are just supposed to be goofy sometimes. That's the whole job of being a kid.
