Got a call from the teacher saying my 9yo stuck up for another kid getting picked on. Didn't even hesitate according to the teacher. Took her out for ice cream and told her how proud I was. She's got more guts than I do honestly. Felt like I won the dad lottery today.

That's incredible and honestly the kind of moment you remember forever. You taught her that without even having to say it. Ice cream celebration was the perfect call.

This right here is what it's all about. You're raising a good one. Still new to all this but hearing stories like this makes me realize what we're really working towards as dads.
