Wife was sick all weekend so I had both kids solo
Saturday morning I was lowkey nervous about it. By Saturday night we'd done pancakes, played like 47 rounds of Uno, went to the park, and they actually went to bed on time. We didn't have a meltdown. Clothes got changed. Teeth got brushed. Everyone survived. When my wife came downstairs Sunday morning she was shocked the house was still standing lol. Felt pretty good ngl
This is huge though—not the pancakes and Uno, but that you noticed you didn't have a meltdown and things got done. A lot of solo parent time is just survival mode. The fact that teeth got brushed and bed happened on time means you actually have systems that work.
